*
Number of attendants standing to each side. *Note, if there is a unique attendant combination, please explain (for example, the bride may have her brother standing as her 'attendant of honour' followed by 3 attendants - all women)
*
Number of corsages - Identify pin or wrist to be worn by whom? Consider parents/stepparents, grandparents, officiant, and other honoured guests.
*
Number of boutonnieres - to be worn by whom? Consider not only wedding party attendants, but also parents/stepparents, grandparents, officiant, and other honoured guests.
*
Are you interested in hair florals? Full or partial flower crown, or floral adorned comb or bobby pins?
*
Will there be a flower child (-ren) or junior attendants? Do you imagine them carrying wee posies, basket with flower petals, pillows? Other ideas?
*
Describe the bouquets you are imagining. Including a few of your favourite images is always helpful. For shapes, consider descriptors such as: globe-shaped, waterfall cascade, slight spilling, tight, loose, ‘wild’, pageant-style. For size, consider fruit or sports balls (not kidding!) Examples: smaller tighter globe the size of a honeydew melon; or, a loose wildflowery bouquet that’s as big as a huge watermelon with long strands of greenery falling to my knees.
*
Describe your vision for your ceremony flowers and overall design. This can be vague or specific. Elements for consideration, to name a few: arbour, large urn-style focal arrangements, aisle markers, aisle entrance florals, flower petal confetti.
*
Describe the feeling of the reception and your vision for flowers and overall design. Include 1. Describe table shape and number of seats/ guest table, additional tables such as tall boys for cocktails, buffet table, dessert table 2. Will there be a head table? If so, seating whom? Will there be a sweetheart table? 2. Will it be only cocktails and canapes or sit down dinner: buffet, seated service/ or family style 3. Will there be runners, candles, other table decor elements? 4. Other spaces requiring florals: mantle, card/guestbook signing table? Seating chart? Welcome sign? Other.
