About our wedding flowers

We use the highest quality seasonal, fresh flowers to create your wedding florals from not only our extensive gardens nurtured with ecological growing methods, but also surrounding wild spaces: a small orchard, the meadows, forest, and shore. We are proud to design beautiful flowers using sustainable floristry.

Your journey begins with exploring your wedding inspiration - not just the flowers. Together we’ll chat about what or who has inspired your wedding style, memories that come with the flowers you are imagining, your favourite flowers and what makes them special to you, your wedding colours, whether or not you prefer pointed or spherical geometric shapes…and so much more.
​Points To Note
  • Once your initial order form is received, Denise will prepare a tailored interactive PowerPoint that walks you through a floral design journey, ensuring your wedding flowers are unique to you and your special day. 
  • Upon receiving your flower summary and contract a hold-the-date non-refundable deposit of approximately 25% of total contract amount will be due
  •  A final review of your wedding flowers will be scheduled 2-3 months before your wedding date
  • Final payment will be due 2 months before your wedding date
  • Wedding garden visits are typically scheduled the week(end) before the wedding date

​Barefoot Blooms typically serves clients from Halifax, Hants, Kings, Annapolis & Lunenburg counties, though we have worked remotely with brides from Northwest Territories to Texas whose weddings have been held in beautiful Nova Scotia.  Many of our wedding flowers are also carefully packaged and delivered to weddings across the province, from Yarmouth to Cape Breton, and across the Atlantic provinces, as far away as Newfoundland!
